The in-app chart is built on the same activities, relationships, and calculated dates as your register—toolbar controls for scale and data date sit alongside an interactive timeline powered by your live project data.
Schedule-driven bars
Bars reflect calculated start and finish dates from your plan—not arbitrary sketching. After you maintain logic in the activity register and run schedule calculation, the Gantt stays aligned with the same numbers your network and critical path use.
Hierarchy and milestones
Summary rows roll up children; milestones appear as zero-duration markers. The chart respects parent–child structure so executives see packages while teams still manage detail underneath.
Dependencies on the canvas
Trace links between tasks visually and draw new finish-to-start relationships directly on the chart. New links persist to the project so the dependency register and Gantt stay in sync.
Time scale
Zoom the timeline from day-level detail up through week, fortnight, month, quarter, or year views—pick the scale that fits stand-ups, steering meetings, or long-range roadmaps.
Data date
Show a vertical status line for “as of” reporting: follow today automatically in live mode, or lock a date for snapshots and narratives. Your choice is remembered per project.
Navigation
Jump the view to the earliest work, scan name/start/finish columns beside the timeline, and read the year range in the toolbar so large programs stay orientable.
Aligned with the grid
Status changes in board-style views flow through to the same underlying activities the Gantt displays, so delivery teams are not reconciling conflicting pictures.
